im thinking of putting him on paper towels to that the substrate doesnt stick to him while his :~( stump heals...boo hoo boo hoo boo hoo.....I dont even have a pic of him with his tail......I feel like such a bad cresty mommy.............we have had abby since she was a hatchling and her tail is still on........

:It's ok. The important thing is that you found him and he's alright. I brought an adult home from a show and as we were putting a water dish in the cage, he just sat there and broke his tail off. I was really traumatized too! And it wasn't that you weren't careful, it's just that he was so scared from escaping that being picked up made him drop it. And now we both have learned the lesson of what it means when they start waving their tails up and down. : (... I really wish they grew back though.
