Can you tame a crestie....

I have a crestie thats 7 and a half months now and is well fed (she's [using a steve quote] Fat as Mud) and she'll eat, well more like attack, anything that moves (crickets mealworms fingers water drops etc) but detests babyfood (probably cus it doesn't move) she, sort of, lets me pet her and won't let me hold her and usually tries to bite me (except right after [ie within 30 seconds] after she's just full from a fresh meal). Can I tame her? Any suggestions?
