Use an incandesent light, they will not use belly heat and you need to raise the ambient temps, also if that substrate is crushed walnut(thats what it looks like)I would get rid of it, they have an incredible sense of smell, and if you should spill any babyfood on substrate they will eat it.

::I've worked on acclimating mine to my basement at high 60's - low 70's, but since then I've added some supplemental heat, and find that they look better in the mid to high mid 70's.
