In Reply to: Can a crested lay unfertile eggs without being with a male?? posted by Gecko2525 on December 19, 2002 at 10:44:08:
I have not experienced it with any of my guys, but im sure it is possible. However the eggs will most likely be reabsorbed or never fully develop at all when the male is absent. When the male is present and fertilization does occur you can still get an unfertile clutch, which is usually due to poor diet, environmental conditions, or just a “bad” male.
