Well my male still isn't eating, but will readily take silkworms. I thought maybe he was sick of his plain crickets and baby food, but I give him a variety of babyfood and most of the time he won't even look at a worm. I haven't been able to get a fecal because I can't find one. I felt around for an impaction and couldn't feel anything hard or a bluge. I've had him on paper towel for months now and his crickets are proper size. The other day I gave him some chicken baby food with calcium in it. He looks a little thin, but hasn't lost any weight (I weighed him and checked my records). I thought maybe because I rised the temperature in my room he thinks it is breeding season. I have heard of males losing there appetites around the beginning of breeding season. The last fecal I had done about a month ago was clean. Maybe he just smells all my females?? I have no idea what it is. I even use Para-Zap!!
Questions:
What is the proper weight for an adult (or 10 month old) male crested (he weighs 32g.)?
Are Female cresteds a lot larger than males? (my females are twice the size)
How many crickets should an adult eat per day? (my younger female eats 15 crickets or more!)
Do you know what is wrong??
And when does that crested book come out?? :)
Any help would be great!!
I WISH THAT BOOK WOULD COME OUT SOON!
