When I went to buy my females on Sunday I asked her when their last clutch was (which was their first). She said the gold one was about a month ago and the grey one was about 2 - 3 weeks ago.
The gold female was REALLY fat. I said to her oh I didn't know it was that soon. They could still be gravid now because crested can hold sperm. Anyways I got them home and the gold one was so heavy. Later in the night I put in nest box just incase. The gold one was laying on a corner of my digital therm. box with her belly facing me and that when I knew. The two eggs insider her were separted and you could see the outline.
I know it is near impossible to tell when a crested in gravid, but I swear those were the eggs.

How long do cresteds hold the sperm in their little pouch for. I forget if it is 5 months or 5 weeks. I don't remember.

Anyways, I have the moist (not) wet nest box filled with coco husk and it is slightly covered with cork bark. Plus, tonight I am going to giver her a little warm basking spot with a 15 Watt light bulb. A reptile guy told me to do this because it will incourage her to lay. The only thing I am worried about is since I just got her will the stress effect the eggs at all. I am trying not to ouch her or stress her out just incase.

To: RhacRsweet $ mikecoscia,
So much for waiting to breed....and just breeding the one female!!! I wonder if the grey one is gravid too.

Any help would be excellent!!!
Thanks,
Liz
