Oh yes.
They do like to leave their calling card. Seagull-wanna-be's?
One of my males does it everytime, his mate does maybe 50% of the time I handle them. Surprisingly, the others don't do it often, and mostly it's the males if they do doodoo. :)
I also find the males a bit more antsy, so it might be a fear thing?

I'm now to the point where I have a paper towel handy when I handle the aurics. There is one advantage to them though, they don't jump around as much as cresties. I find the aurics tend to stay put, making them easier to handle (aside from the poop thing).
