A warning on mixing species together . . .

A friend of mine was temporarily housing a white lined gecko in a small critter container that sat inside the big tank with his sub-adult auric.

The white lined gecko and auric were of similar length (although an auric is much bulkier).

You guessed it - the white lined escaped out of the critter container and "GULP" - was eaten by the auric.

The auric was quite pleased with herself (BURP).

Just another life lesson for all you budding herpetoculturists out there.
