I have an adult (approx. 3 year old) Crested male that I got recently. He's been in perfect health. He looks good. The only time I've seen him eat is when I have finger or spoon-fed him baby food. I've yet to see him take any crickets from his bowl, though he may have gotten one or two loose ones that got free of the bowl. I'm paying closer attention to exactly how many I offer (two or three at a time). This has been going on now for two weeks and I know the small amounts of baby food aren't enough to sustain him. He does drink water from misting, but I haven't witnessed him drink from his water bowl.

Shouldn't he be attacking the crickets by now?

I know they are nocturnal so I don't bug him during the day, but after two weeks shouldn't he be fairly active soon after sundown.

How is their active time compare to, say, Leos?

Am I just being paranoid?

Help,

Marty
