Hello.....
It is important that you reduce the amount of baby food each time you feed till you get them on the diet completely... take out some baby food and add some water each time... The way you are feeding it, there would be a question that the gecko isn't getting enough protein and other nutrients in the mix.
It is really not necessary to do this... A healthy gecko will not starve its self bercause it doesn't like the tase of the food. It actually tastes pretty good.. it is just different wrom what they are eating, and thats enough. Just give them the diet till they eat it... its that simple they all will... anyone who says their gecko won't eat it, sumply isn't giving it enough time.. Others say that babies won't eat baby food or anything but crickets, and this is also false.... our colony gets the feed frim day one, and nothing else.... a baby crested doesn't eat enough to even notice, but they do eat.... we have never lost a gecko that wasn't born weak.. Most of the time it is the keeper who doesn't have the stomach to switch the geckos onto new feed, and panics because they don't see their gecko eat for a day or two.... Just offer them the diet till they eat it... its that simple... a healthy gecko can go off feed for weeks, and it is perfectly natural.... so relax... and out wait them... If you can't get him to switch, then he is smarter than you... lol
