I spoke to Allan at a recent show and he told me to mix it as 1part powder to 2 parts water. He also said if they won't eat it...then to use baby food instead of water. I couldn't get mine to eat it using the water so i tried some baby food. and viola! I just sprinkle the powder on top of the baby food (i don't mix in) and they usually finish the whole dish.
Allan also told me he never has fed his cresteds crickets, and he has been breeding for quite some time. So i now exclusively feed mine just baby food and powder. It seems to be working out just fine.
