:I used to have the little gravel in my tank. You know, the stuff you used to put in your fish tank when you were like five? lol....anyhow......i took it out today when i cleaned the tank cause i'm wondering if it will make it easier to clean. THose with gravel, how the heck to you clean the gravel??
:~kristy ann~

I myself don't have gravel...I use larger pebbles, and have to rinse the entire tank out every 2 weeks or so. Royal pain...but hey, it sure looks nice! I've read on these posts that gravel such as you describe isn't recommended for turtle tanks because they may swallow it and it could become lodged internally causing damage. Not to mention obviously difficult to clean! :)
See what others say...but that's all I can offer!
By the way, have you named you little one yet?
