nitrate question

Thanks for letting me know that. Glad to hear that your turt is better now.

My turt seems healthy and the water quality is good. He didn't really bite himself as he couldn't quite reach the spot he wanted to get to. But I'll keep an eye on him and his environment.

On second thought, I do have a question about nitrate levels. The highest nitrate level that I ever measured in my tank was 1 ppm. Usually it's about 0.5 ppm. Is that reasonable?
