A little shy?

One of my babies (which I've had for almost 2 months now)has always had this thing about the back corner of the tank. He spends all his time there with his head in the corner, trying to dig. He comes out to eat and, when we try and move him, he swims around a little... I just want to know if this is okay behavior for him? I don't want him to be sick or anything and not know about it.
