Is it a worm? Catch it! Place it in a bag or container w/ water...if possible get a fecal sample from your turtle and keep it in water too...call your vet for an appointment...this may be an internal parasite. Only your vet can weight and administer panacur (at least twice)...be prepared to thoroughly clean your tank + filter with very warm water to kill anything else living in the tank...good luck and keep us posted

:My turtle has a white, flat (about 4 inches) tape-like substance coming from his rectum. Does anyone know what this is? Please help.
