Open wound

My turtle is very resilient, however she sustained an injury on her head when I was moving apartments. It is a white open wound that in two months hasn't healed at all.

One Toronto reptile store suggested leaving her out of the water for an hour a day and applying cream antibiotic polysporin.

it's not working either. Anyone solve similar dilemmas?
