No its not shedding they are literally stretch marks the scutes are slowly spreading apart and then they should fill in (slow growth is good:)...start to worry if her scutes are pyramiding or if they are red, pink and soft otherwise your just watching your baby grow:)
:Hey! My baby RES just stated getting a grayish line around all of the plates of her shell. Her tank is clean, she swims, eats and acts happy. I've touched her shell and it isn't soft or anything. She's only 1 1/2 inchs so is she just growing? She seems a tiny bit larger....knida! Maybe the shells sheding?
