shell growing or what?

Hey! My baby RES just stated getting a grayish line around all of the plates of her shell. Her tank is clean, she swims, eats and acts happy. I've touched her shell and it isn't soft or anything. She's only 1 1/2 inchs so is she just growing? She seems a tiny bit larger....knida! Maybe the shells sheding?
