If you're going to require that people insure their kenyan sand boas and ball pythons, you should require insurance for hamsters, parakeets, cats, dogs, and goldfish too. Why single out harmless reptiles? If they need to be insured, so do all other pets. The venomous insurance, though, is an excellent idea, especially if it were nationwide and could somehow override exsisting hot bans. The falconers have federal laws protecting their hobby, why not us?
