Still feeding pinks @ 27"? I just fed her a 2 or 3 day old rat pink last night, and the buldge wasn't too big. Your choice, but I think it would be more convienient and economical to go bigger w/ less quantity, to each his own. This actually reminds me of a story I read in Herp Stories or perhaps the Kingsnake forum about an owner of a 5 year old cali king talking to an experienced herper, and the king owner explained that she fed 1 or 2 pinkie mice once a week, and the king was something in the order of 3 feet. The details have escaped me, but he thought the snake seemed healthy after seeing it or photos of it or something.
