That's exactly where she is, up high, and when I finish her next cage I'll be sure to get her as high as possible. Do you ever have any problems with nose rubbing on the Mesh? How are you heating such an open cage, and do you take any measures to provide high humidity?

:the ceiling if possible. My cage is roughly 2'deep x 4 1/2' wide x 5' high. It sits on another one of my modular cage setups so that it is about 1/2' from the ceiling. It has mesh on both sides and the front. The back is peg board so that there are holes that allow a flow of air. Spilotes like to be above everything when possible. They also like to feel they are in the open air. I posted a pic of my cage about a year ago on this forum. I'll need to look at some old pics if you would like to see it. Good luck.
