From your experince, do the racers get lighter with size and age or is there a lot of individual variation? What is the avg. size for racers in your area? The avg. size for racers in FL and NC (where I've herped extensively) is 3.5 to 4 feet and a very occasional 5 footer. I wonder if more northerly racers are bigger.
