: : Here are a couple of (lousy) shots of the black Eastern Coachwhip I caught here in SE TX a couple of weeks ago. It shed, but still has a few scars. The white spaces between the scales are the result of the 5 hoppers he ate yesterday (he took the first one alive, but after watching that struggle I decided to prekill the others.
