I just found that they have been on CITES Appendix 2 since 1979.
That doesnt mean you cant get them, it may just take a little longer.
Oh and there are a few breeders in Europe that have bred them on a few occasions.
I noticed a lot of notes regarding females eating the males as opposed to mating.
