In Reply to: Dun they also have rodents as part of their natural diet? n/p posted by Vanan on March 12, 2001 at 14:02:10:
I have found several baby coachwhips in the wild and they were all way to small to eat a whole pink.
but field mice pinks are much smaller, so im sure if one were to come across small rodents, it wouldnt hesitate.
Yes they do eat rodents, if they can catch them, keep in mind they cant effectively constrict their prey, so holding on to it would be difficult for them unless it was a small food item.
