Erik....That is some field you found there...hope it doen't get torn up for condos someday. Thanks for sharing those photos. It's good to know that coachwhips can be downright abundant in some areas.

I have only found one in the few trips I have taken to the SouthWest. But it sure was a good looking animal - a red coachwhip. Here are two shots of it. The first shows it to be about 4 foot plus and the second is a closeup of the head. Do you ever find the red morph in your area? By the way, I checked out your website. Nice job! Looks like you plan to add photos of all the expected species for the county once you find them. I would love to see some habitat shots, too! Thanks again....Eddie
