Some coachwhips and patchnose snakes I found...

Here are some pics of some western coachwhips and Texas patchnose snakes I've found in the past week (among many other species). This is in San Antonio, TX.

- a sub adult around 3' in length -

- a pair found in the same field as the one above -

- a HUGE coachwhip well over 6ft and close to 7ft -

- ANOTHER different pair of coachwhips found in the same field as the others -

- a Texas patchnose getting a little defensive -

- a high yellow TX patchnose -

* all snakes are from the same field inside San Antonio

• Snakes of Eddy County, New Mexico
