Thank you for the responses. I think it must have been the mouse/rat smell. I hadn't changed my cloths before I went into his cage. He has never reacted like that. He is, like your Mack, a bit flighty when I first take hime out, but almost never trys to squeaze me like that. I started prying him after I loosened his teeth out of my flesh. I was more worried about any damage he might have taken before I relized it sort of hurt!

Holy cow it scared me a bit so see him cruising the tank looking for more food... ME! He is usually pretty sweet now that he's settling down so I was surprised. I always take him out first to feed him in a seperate box so never really had the damn mouse smell on me.

Just a quick note, I really am a new snake owner. I think they are really amazing animals. I have my Mackie and two Dumerils that are a MUCH different animal all together. I love them all though, for their own unique ways, you know?
