I have a hole cut in the top of the cage with chickenwire over it and set the lightbulb on top of that. The cage is so big I need another source for heat. I need to use more than the heat bulb. It's not a matter of what KIND of heating element, but how to place the heating element properly in the cage. I can use either a heatmat or flexwatt, but I don't know where or how to safely place it in the cage....
