but they may be lifted from another book
ranges are not something that is as well known as many people commonly think. there are more cases of animals being found near or slightly beyond their expected range than one could possibly count. and there are several species (ie clemmys guttata, glyptemys muhlenbergii for which there range is likely far from known)some of these are isolated specimens but many are indications that more range work could be done. so take any map you read with a grain of salt
