Welcome to the wonderful world of ig ownership. I have heard of some males going into season for a year at a time, and some never at all (mine is one of those)
Now, I don't know from firsthand experience whether or not this really works, but I have heard that if you supply them with a
"Luv Sock" they will relent on their humans some. Basically you find something roughly his size, a large green or brown sock stuffed with batting, a towel, maybe even a stuffed toy alligator, and give it to him. I have been told they will take it out on their toy and be okay around people.
Again, I don't know if it will work, but give it a try. Keep us posted on the results!

: I have a 4ft. Long ig. He is in heat. We have become prisoners in our own home. If we let him out of his cage he charges at us. He has been in heat for about a month and a half. I was putting food in his cage and he charged at me and bit me. I had to get sixteen stiches. This is getting out of control. We love our Ig, but we want him back to the way he was. This seems like a long time to be in heat. Can somebody Help.
: Thank you in advance
