Very interested in your project. I have been working on trying to create an iguana sanctuary in Northern Calif. to house all the "unadoptable" igs. Thus, I've been working on cage/habitat considerations myself. Maybe we can put our heads together.

Was it your intention to somehow export U.S. igs needing sanctuary down to Guatamala? My understanding is that when igs come to the states, it's a one way trip... but I could well be wrong.

There's so many considerations (health, quarantine, vet. care, etc., etc., etc., that creating a sanctuary is pretty daunting - but perhaps not if they can essentially 'go free' - something they can't do up here obviously.
