Hello there fellas!!! My name is Luis Taracena, I am a Guatemalan herpetoculturist I reside in Phoenix, AZ. I have just became a new member of NAID.
I have a project that I have been considering for some time, I would like to make a Green Iguana Santuary in Guatemala, Central America. I think that the tropical enviroment for the Iguanas should be perfect, there are wild Green Iguanas in the area.
I have adquired about 30 acres of land on the Atlantic coast of Guatemala. I would like to use part of this land to make this Green Iguana Paradise.
I have unlimited amounts of water available since the northern side of the lot is "Rio Dulce" the main drain to "Lago De Izabal", (The largest lake of Guatemala). I have considerated canalazing water through extra large Out-door enclosures.
Now here is where I need advise:
What would be the best way to construct the enclosures? Should I make just one gigantic enclosure? Or should I make a few super extra large ones?
Any coments on the topic are welcome
Tanks in advance, Luis T
