Anyone have Asthma/allergies to iggys? My husband and I have had Spike for 3 years now and both of us start to wheeze after handling Spike for more than a few minutes. When he was a juvenile, I used to be able to sleep with him on my chest - now I can't hold him fo rlong without sneezing and eventually starting to wheeze. I have to use an albuteral inhaler after handling him and ended up on in the Emergency Room many times because of Asthma . Has anyone had success in being treated for allergies to Iggys?
I love Spike and he is a super sweet potty-trained Iggy (goes in the tub). He's very docile never bit anyone. I want to keep him but (he is a wonderful little guy!!), but...he is not good for our health - anyone ever hear of this? Anyone know a good allergist that has dealt with Allergies to Iggys? Please help me if you can!!
Thanks!
