: I have been set up at several booths and have set pictures I use. Send me : an e-mail and I will give you the web page address for the pictures. : : hi every one : : It looks good for VA to be setting up a booth or table Sept 11 at Farmers Market Country Fair. I've done some thinking about what we will need and I know that it came up in the chat last night. I only attended one event, but I enjoyed myself and I learned what kind of questions we receive. I though we could all share ideas. : : As for what I learned: : : Some individuals will have no idea what that Ig is. : : Others will have one who isn't being taken care of. : : Some had an Ig who died. : : Still others were given one that was sick. : : Others want to know how good it is with chidren. : : Most adults want their child to see the iguana : : Someone will have seen the NIAD website. : : Almost everyone will ask what it eats and what we house it in. : : Ideas for Table: : : Empty box for Iguana light 5.0 : : Ig Manual : : Internet Sample material : : pictures of cages : : Maybe a display of what not to get: : : Heat rocks, Liquid sun (Two stores told me Igs don't need UVB light if they get liquid sun), ten gallon tank, etc. : : Care Sheets : : Business cards for a reptile vet. : : I was thinking of making a poster with trading posts with Igs for sale highlighted. There will be at least 5 people who will say "iguana abuse. I never heard of iguana abuse" : : Cindy
