: hi every one : It looks good for VA to be setting up a booth or table Sept 11 at Farmers Market Country Fair. I've done some thinking about what we will need and I know that it came up in the chat last night. I only attended one event, but I enjoyed myself and I learned what kind of questions we receive. I though we could all share ideas. : As for what I learned: : Some individuals will have no idea what that Ig is. : Others will have one who isn't being taken care of. : Some had an Ig who died. : Still others were given one that was sick. : Others want to know how good it is with chidren. : Most adults want their child to see the iguana : Someone will have seen the NIAD website. : Almost everyone will ask what it eats and what we house it in. : Ideas for Table: : Empty box for Iguana light 5.0 : Ig Manual : Internet Sample material : pictures of cages : Maybe a display of what not to get: : Heat rocks, Liquid sun (Two stores told me Igs don't need UVB light if they get liquid sun), ten gallon tank, etc. : Care Sheets : Business cards for a reptile vet. : I was thinking of making a poster with trading posts with Igs for sale highlighted. There will be at least 5 people who will say "iguana abuse. I never heard of iguana abuse" : Cindy
