Right off the bat I'm inclined to say yellowbelly. The eyes don't look right for a diamondback and those are blotches not bands so erythrogaster it is (now that I've convinced myself). Now all we need is someone who really knows what they're talking about! I'm rearing several adult nerodia but like yourself have little experience with youngsters, as yet.
