Western Mud Snake

Here's a few pics of a Western Mud Snake that I caught and released here in Victoria county, TX. I found him about to cross the road near a drainage ditch on the south side of town. It's too bad these guys are such a pain to feed because he was easily the most docile snake I've ever caught. These guys have been on my most wanted list for a long time and now I can finally scratch em off that list ; )
