Yes, likely we all have but,the pet store MUST provide you the ACCURATE latin description! Research will then determine the next step. Are they venomous, rear or front fanged? Just because they may not bite doesn't mean they can't. Are they protected? They may in fact be washhermachine snakes ... heaven forbid.
Can you provide or access pictures to assist in ID?
