Does water snake are nocturnal or diurnal creatures ? My snake, (florida banded) seem to spend his whole day basking...I rarely see him by his water bowl. What he like to do is curl himself up on a wood branch and bask. He measure about 9 inch and is bowl is about 7 inch diam...1 inch deep...Should he spend more time in the water ???
