I have caught many taxispilota, several floridana, and even a couple fasciata that approached 4 feet. The biggest sipedon I've caught was about 36". What species fall into the "small" Nerodia then? clarkii, harteri, vlaida, and rufipunctatus ;) ?

Ive never seen a baby northern that wasn't grey and black. that one has realy dark coloring
