That would be a transversa. A flavigaster would have no traces of pattern at that size. I don't think there are any pure flavigaster in your area, those being from extreme E. Tx. Remember there is a large zone of intergradation so bascially you just have Yellowbellies that get more and more patterned as you head west until you start calling them transversa. Anyhow, beautiful snakes and thanks for the pics! By the way, did you take pics of the confluens?
