And rude or not it didn't really help answer an either or question with little input on either variable. NO, monitors don't particularly care to be held. BDs on the other hand seem to love it(, as do leopard geckos and a few other lizards I can't think of). The monitors I have met tolerate handling if it is getting them something or somewhere they want. But usually they are squirming and backing out of your hands...even if they aren't biting.
BDs (and Leos) will climb out onto you and stay there for hours. That is way beyond tolerating and on to the 'this is fun' stage IMO. They have the added pro of not needed the space of most monitors.
