Don't cook anything. ProExotics has a turkey diet recipe on their site. Thaw, not cook, ground turkey, add a calcium supplement etc....check it out.
Steak, and many other meats has too high a fat. I have otherwise fed ground venison (without supplemental fat added as is often done by butchers) as it is low fat too.
