Little or not high fat is not good for him. If you want to put weight on him give him all he will eat of crickets and the occasional pinkie. You want weight on too fast and you will make him sick. He can't digest the higher fat. That is the trouble. Seriously, the turkey will make him fat. Thaw it, mix it, and offer at room temp. As a staple I would go with bugs dusted until he is too big for crix. Even my 2 + foot and 3# (haven't weighed and measured her in a few months. year old one will go after roaches rather than mice any day. Though she loves both if you put down both at once it is always the bug first choice. Get the book too.
