That you have atleast some experience with them. Visiting one is different then owning one. You'll have a whole new experience and respect for them or you'll totally hate them. If it is wild caught expect a flighty thin animal that does not want anything to do with you. Or it may be totally defensive and stand and fight but typically it is the other way.

Just be sure it sees a vet or atleast has a fecal done even if it was treated it still may have something so it would be a good idea. If you raise your own food thats a plus then you can be sure its food has the proper diet. Just make sure to keep the humidity up and the temps right. Other then that watch your back at all times. I have a cb/98 male that is 9 foot and a cb/01 female that is 6 foot both are calm but you will never see me kissing them. :)

:it is in fact wild caught...from what im told its about six feet long...and it has an extra room in my apartment for a cage...as for the whole food issue...i breed rodents of all sorts so i dont think ill be running out of food anytime soon...but yes as far as big monitors even croc i do have experience with them...i have just never had one in my apartment before...=)
