You can always get normals/wild types by just avoiding breeding animals that have the same homozygous or het characteristics. A hypo mated to an albino will always result in normal animals. Yes, they would be het for those traits, but you could continue to mate the offspring over many generations to continue to weed out the het genes to get pure normals.
However, if you breed one species to another, say honduran to sinaloan, the offspring will always be considered hybrids. No matter how many generations down the line you breed the offspring with only hondurans, you will always have some percentage of sinaloan blood in them.
