I understand the point that hybridizing to cross traits to other forms may devalue a "pure" strain of morph however don't morphs in general devalue wild phenotypes? Few could argue that outside of commercial considerations, it’s the wild types that possess the greatest intrinsic value. If breeding "pure" is to become an ethical debate instead of one of personal preference, why not take aim at morph production too? Just playing devil's advocate.
