Hello. My 6 month old black milk has not been acting like himself lately. I recently, (within the last two weeks) moved him from newspaper to aspen bedding, and I have noticed a definite change in his feeding habits. When he was on newspaper he voraciously ate two f/t fuzzies every six days. When I moved him to aspen, he began regurgitating food. I realized that the temp might have been to high, so I lowered it. A week ago he ate 3 live pinkies, and kept them down after the temp change. He was not nearly as agressive, and it took a little coaxing for him to eventually go for it. Today, I offered f/t fuzzies, and he showed no interest. His normal, voracious appetite has seemed to disappear. Could it be that the substrate change stressed him out? Would moving him back to newspaper be too stressful? I'm afraid to feed him on the aspen b/c he might ingest some of it, so I switched him to an empty cage to feed him. Was that too stressful for him? I'm not sure what's wrong, but it stresses me out when my snakes don't eat. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot,
-Mack
