As a matter of fact I'm heading over to the breeder this week to buy an unrelated female. I'm definitely going to breed them. From the one adult that I have seen, (the 6ft male that produced my male) black milks rival eastern indigos in beauty and iridescence. They are amazing snakes and I cannot think of a better species to represent the lampropeltis family, with perhaps the exeption of the eastern king. Are your adults voracious feeders? My guy has only eating f/t, and he gently takes them from my fingers. I've heard about how aggressive of feeders they are. Maybe I'll try live sometime...

:I'm glad he's doing well! Mine impress me every time I look at them. They're such a joy to work with, and the males' size is awesome!
:If you're like me, you'll be eager to breed these guys--so you can raise more babies! =o)
